When the north falls and the imperial Song court is captured, Yue Fei and his companion, Commander Han Shizhong, protect a young Song prince as he escapes the Jin and begin a passionate struggle for the dynasty's survival against a seemingly unstoppable enemy.

On the battlefield, you can turn the tide. But in the imperial court, betrayal can prove more lethal than any enemy.

This is a legendary battle to save an empire in crisis and its people, told as an epic Age of Empires IV campaign.

A completely new civilization: The Jin Dynasty

The Jurchen Jin dynasty arrives characterized as a fast and ruthless civilization, whose strength is based on three pillars:

• Horse pastures that synergize with stables to increase military production, through a relentless cavalry engine

• Emissaries who capture neutral settlements to establish vassal states and with them economic and military advantages

• Gunpowder weapons that turn the late game into a siege storm of fire and smoke

Expand your empire across the map with mounted villagers and captured vassal states, and then secure everything with Meng'an Mouke forts, which attack when enemies dare to cross your borders.

New unique units: Mounted Grenadier, Iron Pagoda, and Eruptors

Unleash a selection of units as fierce as they look:

• Mounted Grenadier – Heavy ranged cavalry that throws explosive grenades at enemies to deal area damage.

• Iron Pagoda – Elite cavalry with exceptional armor that deals devastating area damage against enemy formations.

• Eruptors – A short-range gunpowder unit wielding a primitive burst hand cannon that erupts with a devastating scattered explosion.

Designed for multiplayer and skirmishes

Beyond the campaign, the Jin dynasty joins the roster of civilizations in both skirmishes and multiplayer. Incorporate horse pastures, mounted villagers, Iron Pagoda charges, and Eruptors into your favorite game modes.

4 new maps and 2 new biomes

Fight for freedom in four new maps and two new biomes, such as wind-swept grasslands, lush river valleys, and icy desert plateaus that shape every decision: where you build, where you invade, and where you mount your final defense.

The Jin dynasty includes new music and masteries

Establish your empire and launch into battle with completely new in-game music as the Jin dynasty.

Complete special Jin dynasty masteries as you perfect the art of ramming charges, the mastery of powerful technology, and the management of an efficient economy, to earn rewards that will mark you as a true Jin commander.
