After years of waiting, Wolverine finally has his own adventure developed by Insomniac Games. Starting today, September 15, 2026, players can step into Logan's shoes in an original story created exclusively for PlayStation 5.

An adventure centered on Logan

In Marvel’s Wolverine, the protagonist must confront his past while traveling through different parts of the world, including Canada, Japan, and Madripoor. The story revolves around identity, loyalty, and the internal struggle of a character trying to uncover the truth about his origins. 

Unlike Marvel’s Spider-Man, this experience is not built around an open world. Insomniac designed a more direct action adventure, with a narrative-focused campaign, intense combat, and major cinematic moments. 

Claws, fury, and plenty of violence

The combat aims to capture Wolverine's brutality. Logan can use his adamantium claws, close-range attacks, special abilities, and healing factor to survive encounters against mercenaries, mutants, and enemies such as Omega Red. 

The game also includes upgrades, challenges, New Game Plus, mission replay, and numerous accessibility options. Players can also adjust certain elements of violence and language to tailor the experience to their preferences. 

A new stage for PlayStation

With Marvel’s Wolverine, Insomniac once again shows its interest in Marvel characters, but this time with a darker, more aggressive, and more personal approach.

The game is now available on PlayStation 5 and represents one of Sony's most important releases for September.
